If your listing goes from 'Active' to 'Under Contract', or 'Under Contract' to 'Sold' (congrats by the way!), or any other possible status change, you'll want to update the transaction in Transactify. Luckily, it's easy to do that.

 

  • To change the status of a transaction, go to the main transaction page and click 'Edit'




  • Alternatively, on the 'Transactions' page, you can search for the transaction, click' Manage' and select 'Change Status' from the dropdown menu.




Under 'Status', select the new status from the dropdown menu. Depending on which status you're changing to, you may be prompted with new fields requesting more information on the transaction.

  • Important: If you have task list templates associated with a listing status, it's important to enter the dates into the transaction accurately, because the tasks will automatically be assigned due dates based on the transaction dates.



  • Then click 'Update Transaction' and you're done!

  • Additionally, if you have any task list templates associated with a status, those task lists will also load automatically into the transaction with dates & roles assigned. Each team member assigned with new tasks will be notified that they have new tasks in the transaction.
