Task list templates are lists of tasks that you can reuse over and over again for your transactions. They're like a playbook for your transaction management process. For instance, every time you reduce price on a property, you can simply load in your 'Price Reduction' task list into your project, and every task you need to complete is right there.

Creating task list templates is an excellent way to continually improve your processes as you complete more and more transactions. As you go through your transactions, you might realize you need to edit a task or add in a new task as a reminder for your next transaction. All you'll need to go is go to your task list template, and either edit an existing task, or add in a new one.

Creating Task List Templates

  • To create a new template, click 'Tasks', then 'Task List Templates' from the drop-down menu.

  • Click 'New Task List Template'

  • Enter a title for your task list (you can change it later), then click 'Add Task Template'

Next, you'll want to configure your 'Autolaunch' settings.

Automatically Launching Lists by Status

If you would like a task list to launch automatically when a new transaction is launched or changed into a particular status (for example, launching a 'Contract to Close' task list when your transaction goes under contract), you can do that here!

Trigger on Status

  • If you'd like a task list to launch when you start a new seller transaction, select 'Seller' and 'Coming Soon'.

  • If you'd like a task list to launch when a buyer listing goes under contract, select 'Buyer' and 'Contracted'

  • If you'd like a task list to launch when your listing goes becomes active, use 'Seller' and 'Listed'.

  • If you'd like a task list to launch when a buyer transaction closes, use 'Buyer' and 'Completed'.

  • These are just some examples, you can do any combination of transaction type & status based on your needs!

Trigger on State

  • Here, you can define which state(s) this list should automatically launch for. If you want this list to always launch for every state, then you can leave this blank.

Trigger on Agent

  • Here, you can define which agent(s) this list should automatically launch for. If you want this list to always launch for every agent, then you can leave this blank.

Transaction Types

  • Here, you can define which transaction type this will automatically launch for.

Then just click update! Your task list is now set to launch into your transaction automatically based on how you configured the list. You can also still launch these manually as needed, or change the settings later.
