RealScale's native integration with FollowUpBoss allows for incredibly seamless workflows between our two systems. Here's how it works!
- 2-way Contact Sync: All of your existing contacts in FollowUpBoss will automatically appear in your RealScale account, so you can easily search for + pull over their information into RealScale. Any new contacts you enter into RealScale will automatically be created in your FUB account!
- Deal Sync: Any transactions you enter into RealScale will automatically appear on your 'Deals' page in FollowUpBoss. As your transaction moves through the normal deal stages (Listed, Contracted, Closed), your 'Deal' will automatically move through your Deals pipeline!
- Native Embedded Applications: You can easily launch new transactions/deals by clicking 'Create New Transaction' via the 'RealScale Transactions' embedded app. Any transactions associated with your contact in FUB will appear on the 'RealScale Transactions'! Likewise, you'll be able to view your high-level production reports via the 'RealScale Reports' embedded application.
Setting up the Integration
1. First, you'll want to get your API key from FUB. Here's an article on generating + copying your API key: https://help.followupboss.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014289393-API-Key
2. Second, open RealScale, navigate to the 'FUB' tab in your 'Company Settings' page (https://app.realscale.com/v2/company_settings/fub)
3. Next, paste in your API key, the URL you use to log in to FUB, and select the 'Stages' you'd like to sync (if any). Click 'Update Company' once you're done!
4. Then, we need to activate the Embedded Apps. In your FUB account, navigate to 'Admin', then click 'Integrations'.
5. Select the 'RealScale Transactions' integration, then hit 'Enable'. Repeat the process for the 'RealScale Reports' embedded app. Then, you're all set!
Important Notes/Helpful Tips
1. You must use the same login in RealScale and FollowUpBoss for the integration to work properly. For example, if you use name@gmail.com to log in to FUB, then you'll need to be sure to use name@gmail.com to log in to RealScale as well.
2. Your 'Deals' pipelines/stages should match the 'Default Stages' that automatically launch inside of FollowUpBoss. Those are shown below. If you have previously changed your 'Deals' pipelines/stages and need assistance changing them back to the recommended defaults, please contact support and we'd be happy to assist!
